MODE OF ACTION OF HERBS
Vasaka: (Adhotoda Vasika): The drug Adhatoda Vasica comprises the fresh or dried leaves of the plant. Leaves contains an alkaloid vasicine, and an essential oil. The main use of Adhatoda Vasica is as an expectorant; it is given in the form of juice, syrup or decoction. It softens the thick sputum, facilitates it is coming out and thus brings about quick relief in bronchitis.

Tulsi Extract (Ocimum Sanactum): In asthmatic problem, it is very helpful, since it relieves congestion and facilitates smoother breathing. The phytochemicals in tulsi such as Camphene, Eugenol, vitamin C and Cineole mediate their action against congestion, lung infections and shows healing of lungs due to problems like tuberculosis, smoking and lung cancer.
